New Zealand

On October 27, seven of us head to New Zealand for 3 weeks. For much of the trip, Rachel, Serena and Terry travel in one group (posts marked with a "*"), and Angela, Ben, Patrick and Tom travel in another (marked with a "~"). Here's the blow-by-blow (er, actually, hopefully NOT!) account.

... and we're off!

Already delayed flights and other normal travel weirdness have struck, but all of us are here, have tickets, and are happy to be on our way! Some of us thought it would be fun to try to stay up all night last night watching Lord of the Rings and packing, others were muche more smarte. We won't say who was who!
